FlightBridgeED Air & Surface Transport (FAST) Code of Conduct

It is the goal of FlightBridgeED to provide a safe and harassment-free event where mutual respect and the spirit of cooperative learning is fostered. As such we must demand that all who attend the event adhere to the following code of conduct:
 
Who Does This Code of Conduct Apply To?
ALL who attend the FAST Symposium. This applies to staff, speakers, contractors, vendors, sponsors, symposium attendees, and other visitors.
 
Harassment
FlightBridgeED will not tolerate harassment of any kind, including but not limited to: stalking, intimidating, offensive verbal, or written communication, physical assault and / or battery, non-consensual photography, or videography regardless of other governing policies.
 
Disruption
Sustained disruption(s) of speakers and / or courses will not be tolerated. FlightBridgeED encourages questions / debating at the appropriate time - when a speaker, host, or an instructor opens the floor for such. A Disruption, or disruptive behavior also includes heckling, jeering, taunting, booing, or other aggressive comments. Disruptions and disruptive behavior is not limited to verbal outburts and include any activity, or action that, in the opinion of FlightBridgeED, our partners, sponsors, or vendors takes away from the intend experience, or educational instruction of any part of the FAST Symposium.
 
Discrimination / Hate
FlightBridgeED believes in equality for all. FlightBridgeED has a zero tolerance policy for verbal, written, or symbolic communication (including exclusionary jokes) that discriminates against, or is overtly offensive to any person based on, but not limited to race, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, gender presentation, sexual orientation, age, body size, disability, appearance, religion, citizenship, or pregnancy.
 

 
Response to Violation of this Code of Conduct
Please note that this is officially your written notification, that must be accepted prior to attending any FAST event -  if you engage with anyone in a disrespectful, or inappropriate manner, or do not adhere to verbal, or written instructions / directions, or violate in any way the terms of this code of conduct, we (FlightBridgeED and staff) reserve the right to immediately remove you, or to have you immediately removed by local law enforcement (depending on circumstance) from the event, and the event location without refund and at our option ban you from future FlightBridgeED courses, events, and / or other activities. Judgement of infringement is at the sole descretion of FlightBridgeED and the subsequent actions taken in regard to violators is the sole responsibility of FlightBridgeED. Additional consequences may apply to violating this policy if there is also a violation of local laws, or rules / policy of the host facility with, or without prior written acknoledgement of such laws, rules / policies.
